XXIII Science Week & Innovation at UAM’s accelerator

CMAM is going to participate once more in the Science week, organizing an open days to show the accelerator hosted at the “Universidad Autónoma de Madrid”. This activity includes a visit to the hall of the accelerator to explain the research conducted with the ion accelerator at CMAM and its operation. In addition, we will also organize a workshop “Descubre el objeto perdido”, where we will carry out an experiment with the accelerator. The two activities is going to take place in November 16th, in four shifts:

Guided visit

• Guided visit: 11:00 – 12:00 (40 places)
• Guided visit: 12:00 – 13:00 (40 places) – FULL
• Guided visit: 15:30 – 16:30 (40 places) – FULL

Guided visit + Workshop (Descubre el objeto escondido)

• Guided visit: 15:30 – 16:30 – FULL
• Workshop: 16:30 – 19:30 (10 places, guided visit at 15:30 included) – FULL
